Dopo 6 mesi dall'uscita di Turtles, il secondo Album degli A Violet Pine, laT.a. Rock Records pubblica una collezione di 8 remixes realizzati da vari producers Italiani: GiaGGio, MYERS, ormeye, Ostinat, Narrow, Deckardche è anche il produttore del disco e gli stessi A Violet Pine che rivisitano la title track Turtles.
Da queste versioni alternative vengono fuori mondi musicali lontani dai pezzi originali che le hanno ispirate, si creano nuove suggestioni oscure ed improvvise virate verso la luce dell'energia del dance floor. Le influenze electronic, dark ambient, EBM, dubstep, industrial si intersecano sulle sonorità shoegaze dei brani registrati dalla band, di cui spesso restano solo le voci. Un disco multiforme, a volte aspro e spigoloso altre volte morbido e di atmosfera, che per mano dei remixers, offre un punto di vista “elettronico integralista” allargando ancor di più la percezione già di per sé ampia della musicalità del trio.

Rock Records has published a collection of 8 remixes by various Italian producers: GiaGGio, MYERS, ormeye, Ostinat, Narrow and Deckard, who is also the producer of the album, the track Turtles has been revisited by A Violet Pine themselves. These alternative versions produce musical worlds far removed from the original pieces which were the initial inspiration, creating new obscure “suggestions” and sudden turns towards the light.
Where the beat exudes energy of the dance floor. The electronic influence, dark ambient, EBM, dubstep and industrial intersect on the “shoegaze” sounds of the tracks registered by the band, while everything is turned upside only the vocal tracks remains unchanged. A multiform disc, sometimes hard and edgy and other times soft and atmospheric, which at the hands of the remixers, offers an “integralist electronic” point of view ever widening the perception of the trio’s own musicality.
